Our Whole Child Approach

Learning is about more than academic success. Confidence, wellbeing and physical health all play an important role in helping children and young people reach their potential.

While specialist teaching helps learners develop academically, we recognise that some children also benefit from movement, physical activity and opportunities to build confidence beyond the classroom.

Our confidence-building fitness sessions aren't about creating young athletes. They're designed to help children who may benefit from learning through movement, building self-belief, improving resilience and experiencing success beyond the classroom. For some learners, this can complement educational support by increasing motivation, confidence and engagement.

By combining specialist tuition, professional dyslexia assessments, SEN support and confidence-building fitness sessions, we provide a personalised approach that supports the whole child.

Who We Support

Every child and young person deserves the opportunity to succeed. We work with learners from a wide range of backgrounds, tailoring our support to meet their individual strengths, needs and aspirations.

We regularly support children and young people who:

Experience anxiety or low confidence that affects learning.

Find attending school challenging.

Require Alternative Provision.

Have dyslexia or other specific learning differences.

Have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Need extra support to build confidence and reach their potential.

Need help preparing for SATs or GCSEs.

Would benefit from personalised one-to-one learning.

Respond well to movement, sport and confidence-building activities alongside educational support.

For some learners, confidence is built just as much through movement and achievement as it is through academic success. By combining specialist educational support with confidence-building fitness sessions, we help them discover their strengths, stay motivated and develop the resilience to succeed both academically and personally. Whether a learner needs short-term intervention or longer-term specialist support, we work closely with families, schools and professionals to create personalised programmes that promote confidence, wellbeing and lasting progress.

Every assessment includes a comprehensive report with practical recommendations to support learning at home and within educational settings.

One-to-one and small group tuition tailored to each learner's individual needs, supporting literacy, mathematics, GCSE English, study skills and wider curriculum development. Our personalised approach helps learners strengthen knowledge, develop confidence and achieve their potential.

Evidence-informed teaching strategies designed to support learners with additional educational needs, including dyslexia and other learning differences. We work collaboratively with families and schools to remove barriers to learning while promoting independence, confidence and long-term success.

Our engaging fitness sessions help learners improve confidence, resilience and physical wellbeing. For some learners with SEN, movement provides an effective way to stay motivated, regulate emotions and celebrate success. Sessions can complement tuition, helping them associate learning with achievement and enjoyment.
